Brief historical review
Hacienda Sierpe S.A. a Company founded in 1940 by Lic. Edgar Hernandez CartÃn, descendant of one of the great coffee grower families of the time. The Company development in its beginning started as a cattle establishment. The company was bought in 1975 by Mr. Rafael Quesada Lastre (current president) of American nationality stablished in the country more ago than 30 years. The company through the last two decades has developed several projects in the farming area and has been known as one of the greater companies of Central America in rice plantation.
Achievements
From its beginnings Hacienda Sierpe has contributed to the socioeconomic development of the area, being source of work and development in the region for the last years. At the present time it counts with a regional slaughter house which gives service to several bordering communities, also it has made its way in urban and residential developments of the region participating in the transition of rural properties to urbanized areas.
Future projects
In a near future Hacienda Sierpe will have available investment certificates at disposition, as they are being programmed and exhaustively studied so that they produce an outstanding yield. At the moment the company is involved in the residential and tourist development of the area.
Vision
Being in a geographic zone that is being discovered by the world at the present time, having the knowledge of the area by last the 35 years, Hacienda Sierpe's primary target at the present time is to locate foreigners and locals with the economic facilities in the area and to help them to develop urban projects thorugh our company and at the same time to help the social, tourist and economic development of the region.
